Austrian Microelectronics launches UHF RFID reader AS3992
Austrian Microelectronics launched AS3992, expanding its market-leading UHF RFID card reader IC product line for Gen 2 applications.
Austrian Microelectronics AS3992 products include a series of advanced features, such as programmable DRM filter, predistortion function and -86dBm ultra-high receiver sensitivity. This means that a single design system using AS3992 is the first to be delivered to any market in the world.
While consolidating the performance of Simply Gen 2 card reader IC, AS3992 also inherited its best power consumption characteristics. This low power consumption feature combined with new advanced features makes AS3992 the most advanced Gen 2 card reader IC on the market.
