According to the agreement, during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, China Southern Power Grid Corporation will invest approximately 23 billion yuan in the construction of Hainan power grid, including the second phase of the cross-sea networking project, the pumped-storage power station, the construction of the Hainan backbone network, and the construction and transformation of the urban power grid. Rural power grid transformation and upgrading, large-scale power supply and new energy power generation supporting delivery project, electric vehicle charging and replacement infrastructure and smart grid construction, etc., and actively promote the upgrading of Hainan power grid, enhance the integrated disaster prevention capacity of the power grid, improve the power supply capacity of the power grid, power supply reliability And the level of intelligence.

Governments at all levels in Hainan Province will incorporate power grid construction projects into economic and social development plans, overall land use plans, and overall planning for urban and rural development and other relevant plans, and protect them, giving priority and preferential access to the planned site sites and line corridors for power transmission and transformation projects; Support and coordinate issues such as land acquisition, house demolition, tree felling, transportation, and power facilities protection in the implementation of power grid projects.
