I met a girl. We talked, and it was absolutely amazing. However, as the sun rose, reality set in. Well, this is reality. Right here, this is a line from Elva Salvatore, an actress from "The Vampire Diaries." The memory is still vivid, so I revisited the series. I've always admired Western vampires—they’re fearless of the cold and won’t die. Most importantly, they remain unaffected by time, which preserves their handsome appearances. If given the chance to reincarnate, I’d want to be a vampire too.

It wasn’t summer break, so staying home was dull. I convinced my dad to help me get a budget. With my cousin, we became DIY hosts. As a vampire, adding a vampire-themed element was essential.

This is the final setup. The entire machine is filled with red light pollution elements—vampires' favorite—the color of blood. This is the theme of this installation—red light pollution everywhere.

Red Material 1: An awesome memory with a red breathing effect.

Red Material 2: Dylan 570 X-Serial X-belief lights with three glowing red fans beneath.

Red Material 3: Three glowing red fans.
This is a single configuration. The differences in price may vary due to the instability of electronic product prices, but it's still a good reference.

ASRock X370 Killer SLI motherboard (AMD X370/AM4 Socket): The ASRock X370 Killer SLI motherboard uses the AMD X370 chipset, compatible with AM4 interface processors. The motherboard features an IR 12-phase digital power supply and Nichicon 12K black gold capacitors. There are two M.2 SSD slots, one of which is the PCI-E 3.0 x4 channel provided by the processor. The audio section also uses Nichicon sound capacitors. Price-wise, this motherboard is a great deal at just over a thousand yuan. It has a 12-phase power supply, a sleek black-and-white color scheme, and even comes with a CPU cooling module. The PCI-E slots also have reinforcement measures. Overall, it performs well. The downside is the lack of a red-and-black color scheme.

Two M.2 slots, two PCI-E slots, with metal armor protection.

In the I/O area, there’s not much to say. USB 3.0 and PS/2 ports are standard, and there’s a white protective vest.

Ruilong AMD Ryzen 7 1700X processor, 8-core AM4 interface, 3.4GHz boxed version. The AMD Ryzen series CPUs are built using a 14nm process. The first three models released were Ryzen 7 1700, 1700X, and 1800X. Among these, the 1700 has a TDP of 65W, while the higher-end models, 1700X and 1800X, have a TDP of 95W. This particular model, the 1700X, features an eight-core, sixteen-thread design, using a new 14nm process, keeping thermal power under control.
This high-end model 1700X has been successful since its release, with a significant drop in price, now down to 2K. It’s excellent for tasks like PR AE rendering, making me switch from Intel.

A-DATA XPG light bar memory DDR4 2400 16G set (8Gx2), featuring a red appearance and red breathing light effect. While GALAXY also has a breathing light effect, I prefer the look of A-DATA.

Dataland RX 570 4G X-Serial Warrior, 1244-1270/7000MHz, 4GB/256-bit GDDR5, DirectX 12, Indie Game Graphics Card, priced at 1899 yuan on Jingdong.
There’s no direct link to the Dirlan RX570 X-serial 4G, but the last Dylan RX570 X-serial 4G link should suffice. I chose it primarily because the graphics card uses black and red colors throughout, and the信仰lights are also red, aligning with my installation theme. When purchased, the JD price was 1799 yuan, which was within my acceptable range, despite recent increases in Bitcoin prices. If out of stock, it would be unfortunate. It has one HDMI port, one DVI port, and three DisplayPort interfaces, which are more than enough for my needs.

The graphics backplate is also great, maintaining the black and red color scheme. The same red and black color combination ensures that the back looks better than the front.

There are X-belief lights, but only in constant light mode, which is a minor flaw, but it doesn’t bother me.

I still remember using Huntley to cool the king, so this time I also chose HuntKey’s power supply, the MVP K650W. Of course, this is a personal preference. Any brand from Antec would work fine. The TDP of the 1700X is 95W, and the TDP of the Dylan RX 570 X-SERIAL is unknown but roughly 150W. A power supply with a rated power of over 450W is sufficient, but the +12V power supply must exceed 300W.

HuntKey rated 650W K650 power supply (gaming dedicated/80PLUS Gold/single 54A/half module/14CM large fan/LLC resonant/back line), priced at 589 yuan on Jingdong.

IN WIN 303 Black Red Mid Tower Case (supports ATX motherboard/supports water cooling/tempered glass/side-through/U2.0x2+U3.0x2), priced at 659 yuan on Jingdong.
I chose this case mainly because of this rendering. It’s a great purchase. The actual installation effect is also good. However, with all the accessories and six RGB fans in place, I used a lot of energy in the wiring. There’s still plenty of space left, and later I can also place some dolls inside. Radiators are easy to screw into the chassis. Everything is ready except for the lighting.

When the machine was powered on, I was truly impressed by my hands-on skills. Then I gave the final performance to the instructors—a test link!

Lu Master, 3DMark, Chess Test, SSD Run, Memory Test one by one.

The most basic Lu Master score is nearly 33 points. Wow, this score is really high.

3DMark Fire Strike 5301 points, Time Spy 3975 points. No pressure, almost as expected.

Scores are good enough. SSD run points and memory tests are just reference values. What matters is stability and long-term performance in daily use. This time, the installed appearance is very satisfying. The red host looks comfortable. This configuration sheet is mainly for beginners. Will it be a waste?
