Czech government to adjust incentives for solar power

According to reports in the Czech press, the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade is drafting a bill to adjust the incentives for solar power generation, mainly involving the following:

First, solar power will be purchased by the power sales company and will no longer be acquired by the power distribution company.

Second, the current fixed purchase price system will only apply to solar power below 100KW.

Third, the subsidy for solar power is 6,000 kroons per 1,000 degrees, which is about twice as low as current subsidies.

Fourth, the solar power station owners shall, according to the rubbish law, recycle the solar panels that are discarded at their own expense.
