It is understood that in 2011, Jiangsu will speed up the construction of UHV backbone grids, complete the ±800 kV Jinping-Su-Nanjing DC line foundation and converter station civil construction, with the completion of 1000 kV Tin Union - Nanjing and Huaian - Nanjing ~ Shanghai West Exchange Project Approval. In addition, Jiangsu will continue to optimize the regional 220 kV power grid structure, start 220 kV and above substation capacity of 31.2 million kVA, 3,750 km line; put into operation 220 kV and above substation capacity of 24 million kVA, line 2490 Kilometers.
