According to the latest report from the Korean media: Apple is working with a Korean display panel manufacturer to develop large-size OLED TV panels. The Korea Herald reported that the display panel manufacturer in South Korea has produced samples of iTV OLED panels for Apple.
The reason for the delay in the release of Apple's iTV TV is that the core component, the screen panel, is directly upgraded from the LCD panel to the OLED panel, thus delaying the release time. As early as mid-2013, authoritative analysts revealed that Apple will release iTV TV products in the second half of 2013, and eventually failed to cash in due to the switch to OLED screen. Apple has always been a more aggressive company, and the Retina iPhone, Retina Macbook Pro and other products are the best proof. Therefore, Apple iTV abandoned the LCD panel and the possibility of directly adopting the OLED screen is extremely high.
