I. Management Regulations
The State Grid Corporation's "DC Power System Operation Specifications" outlines the operational management requirements, stating that the supervisory unit responsible for operations must conduct an annual inspection and evaluation of the DC power supply system under its jurisdiction. This ensures that all components remain in optimal condition, reducing the risk of failure and maintaining system reliability.
II. Inspection Process and Content
(1) Check that the battery room has proper ventilation, adequate lighting, and functioning fire-fighting equipment. Ensure the temperature is within acceptable limits and that no flammable or explosive materials are present.
(2) Confirm that the screen cabinet doors are intact and properly grounded to prevent electrical hazards.
(3) Inspect the batteries for any signs of leakage, swelling, or damage to the casing.
(4) Verify that all connection points are secure, with no looseness. Ensure the terminals are clean, free from salt deposits, and coated with neutral petroleum jelly to prevent corrosion.
(5) Examine the battery plates for cracks, bends, deformation, or vulcanization. Ensure there are no short circuits, and check that the plate color is normal. Confirm that the battery is neither undercharged nor overcharged, and that the electrolyte temperature does not exceed 35°C.
(6) Measure the voltage of each individual battery to ensure it falls within the acceptable range.
(7) Evaluate the charging device’s AC input voltage, DC output voltage, and current. Ensure the meters are accurate, protective signals (sound and light) are functioning correctly, and the running noise is normal.
(8) Check that the voltage on the DC control bus and power bus is within the specified range, and confirm that the float charge current complies with regulations.
(9) Test the insulation resistance of the entire DC system to ensure it is in good condition.
(10) Review the operation monitoring signals for each branch circuit. Ensure that indicators are working properly, fuses are intact, and automatic switches are in the correct position.
(11) Inspect cable fire prevention measures, such as fireproof coatings and barriers, and check that cable heads show no signs of overheating.
(12) Confirm that all cables and protective devices have clearly labeled identification plates for easy maintenance and troubleshooting.
(13) Ensure that the isolation between the positive and negative terminals on the DC feeder screen is complete and undamaged.
(14) Verify that the wiring of DC circuit breakers follows the manufacturer’s specifications, with no loose connections on the positive or negative poles.
(15) Inspect the insulation monitoring device for any physical damage or deformation, ensuring it is fully functional.
This comprehensive inspection process helps maintain the integrity and safety of the DC power system, supporting reliable and continuous operation.
