In the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan†to be issued in Guangdong Province, the Guangdong Provincial Finance will allocate 2 billion yuan each year to support the development of the LED industry. Foshan local LED companies have called for this, hoping that governments at all levels will increase financial support for corporate research funding, and government procurement should be more inclined to local enterprises.
As early as May of this year, Guangdong Province issued the "Several Opinions on Accelerating the Transformation of Economic Development Mode", which proposed that the LED industry should be regarded as one of the three strategic emerging industries in the province, and during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, The provincial finance will allocate an additional 2 billion yuan each year, totaling 10 billion yuan. This news was confirmed again by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology. The LED industry has also been included in Foshan's three strategic new industries.
Frequently introduced industrial support policies have attracted the attention of many local companies. "Now the LED industry is very hot, and the industry-promoting policies that are frequently introduced may prompt more Foshan traditional lighting companies to switch to the embrace of the LED industry," said Zhu Xinzhi, secretary-general of the Foshan Lighting Association. Many furniture companies also want to switch to LED.
Local companies also hope that the government's money can be used in the cutting edge. Wan Xiao, director and deputy general manager of Guangdong Zhaoxin Group Co., Ltd. admitted that in the initial stage of the development of LED industry, he hoped that the government would increase R&D support for enterprises. Because of the initial stage, enterprises need huge funds to maintain the sustainability of technology research and development. If there is no government research funding support, it is difficult for individual enterprises to have technological innovation.
Wu Yulin, president of Foshan Lighting Association, believes that government support should not only be biased towards large-scale enterprises. Foshan's LED SMEs are very strong, and the advantages accumulated in application design are most obvious. The advantages of Foshan's industry should not be ignored.

What is Via In Pad? In shortly,via in pad is the via holes are at the SMD pad.The vias are very small,usually under 0.3mm.Why and how? First is there is no enough space to layout,you have to put the vias and holes closer even together.Second it helps thermal management and for high frequency boards,it may help improve signals.
Because the SMD pads are for SMD components loading,so the solder can not flow to inner layer or the other side when assemble.That is the most important for via in pad board.
How PCB manufacturers like us to do via in pad board? We will fill all vias with non-conductive epoxy and plate copper over it ,so the vias are flat same as others. Many PCB factories are unable to do such capability.
The key technology is how we fill vias and guarantee there is no any solder (surface finishing) in the holes.
