Enlightenment of digital world rate advanced arts performing arts and R+ technology cross-border fusion

On December 22nd, the 4th Member Representative Conference of the Chinese Opera Performance Association and the First Chinese Opera Performance Art + VR Industry Summit Forum were jointly held in Anqing City, hosted by the Chinese Opera Performance Society and the People's Government of Yixiu District, with Enlightenment Digital (Beijing) Technology & Culture Co., Ltd. as a supporting partner. Notable attendees included Yao Jiahua, Secretary of the Party Committee and Party Building Instructor of the Ministry of Culture; Zhao Jingfa, former Director of the Beijing-Kunming Office of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; Wang Renyuan, former Deputy Director-General and Inspector of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture; Fan Zezheng, member of the Party Committee of the Wenguang New Bureau of Anqing City; Cao Jinbao, Director of the Culture Commission of Yixiu District; Hu Zhifeng, Honorary President of the Chinese Opera Performance Society; and Liu Wenfeng, President of the Chinese Traditional Opera Performance Society. He Yimin, CEO of Enlightenment Digital, took part in the election of new members and voted on key documents such as the 2013–2017 Work Report of the Chinese Traditional Opera Performance Society, the revised draft of the Charter, and the revised draft of the Board of Directors. Yao Jiahua delivered an important speech, highlighting the government’s strong support for traditional arts and the positive impact of the conference on the development of Chinese opera performance art. In the afternoon, the VR Industry Summit Forum took place, featuring discussions on how to integrate traditional opera with modern technologies like VR. Leaders from the Ministry of Culture, Anqing City, Yixiu District, and Tsinghua University attended. Wang Xuan, President of Enlightenment Digital, and He Yimin, Executive Director, along with other industry leaders, emphasized the potential of VR to revolutionize traditional cultural practices. Wang Jing, Deputy Head of Yixiu District, expressed confidence that the collaboration between Enlightenment Digital and local authorities would foster a win-win situation for both the government and enterprises, boosting the cultural industry in the region. Li Jide, President of the Chinese Opera Performance Society, stressed the long-term efforts needed to combine culture with technology, while Li Quansheng, Vice President of Enlightenment Digital, outlined plans for the Anqing Qidi Virtual Reality Industrial Park, focusing on talent cultivation, industry incubation, and capital services. The launch ceremony of the park and the signing of the “Chinese Opera Cultural Digital Center” and “Traditional Cultural Digital Industry Fund” projects marked major milestones in the initiative. Keynote speeches and roundtable discussions featured experts from both the opera and VR industries, including Li Wei from Tsinghua University, who discussed national policies promoting the integration of traditional opera and digital technologies. Wang Xuan introduced the concept of "R+", encompassing VR, AR, MR, and HR, and outlined Enlightenment Digital’s vision for creating a global virtual reality industrial chain. He Yimin emphasized the importance of fusion, sharing, and effectiveness in the development of opera + VR. The event concluded with a performance by renowned opera artists, drawing a full house and receiving widespread acclaim. The performance highlighted the enduring appeal of traditional opera and its growing accessibility through modern technology. As the exclusive organizer, Enlightenment Digital set a precedent for cultural and technological cross-border integration. The forum not only provided new insights for traditional arts but also opened new opportunities for the VR industry.
