PATT Precision Automotive Thin Film Chip Resistors Available

Recently, Vishay announced that PATT precision automotive chip-bonded film chip resistors have begun to supply externally, after this resistor passed the AEC-Q200 certification.

PATT's operating temperature range is 85°C more than conventional chip resistors. It can operate at +155°C and 100% power dissipation and derate linearly to 0mW at +250°C.

The PATT film resistor series uses 0603 and 0805 form factors, the resistance range is 2.75Ω ~ 301kΩ, and provides non-E series resistance. The noise of the device is less than -30dB, the voltage coefficient is less than 0.1ppm/V, the power dissipation level is from 150mW to 200mW, and the maximum operating voltage is from 75V to 100V.

The PATT thin film resistor series uses a high-purity ceramic substrate, and uses 10μin (0.254μm) gold termination for high-temperature HMP bonding and conductive bonding bonding on the nickel grid. The ESD withstand capability is per AEC-Q200, and Class 1C requires 2kV. . The moisture sensitivity of the PATT film resistor series meets the requirements of MIL-STD-202, method 106, fire resistance is AEC-Q200-001, paragraph 4.0, sulfur tolerance is per ASTM B809-95 wet steam test, per MIL-PRF- 55342 requires a 100% visual inspection.

The external supply is 0805 form factor, and the lead time is eight weeks.
