Shanghai, September 1, 2016 - Recently, "Tianjin University-Infineon Automotive Electronics Joint Lab" launched the diesel engine management system development platform (DEMS-DK). DEMS-DK is a solution for the diesel market based on Infineon's 32-bit multi-core microprocessor Aurix. The solution will provide a reference solution for system suppliers and truck manufacturers (OEMs) in the Asia Pacific market, helping local development of electronic control units in the diesel market, helping customers quickly develop diesel management systems that meet future emissions and safety standards.

The simplified version of the Diesel Management System Development Platform (DEMS-DK lite) is a streamlined kit that includes the DEMS-DK controller, USB flash drive, technical documentation for the semiconductor devices used in this solution, and controller schematics, user manuals, test reports, and more. The streamlined kit provides a reference for customers who plan to use Aurix for diesel controller development and complete development projects in a short period of time.

The Diesel Management System Development Platform (DEMS-DK Kit) is a complete version of the kit. In addition to the contents of the Compact Kit, it also provides the wiring harness (including connectors) required for the engine bench test, the housing and the simple hardware test board. In the case of a problem with the hardware circuit, a simple diagnosis is made to determine the controller failure. The full version kit is for customers who want to quickly experiment with benches and plan to develop their own.
