The LM3463 is a 6-channel LED current controller with a wide input voltage from 12V to 95V. It can drive 28 LEDs per string and can be dimmed and controlled by an external microcontroller via a dimming input pin. It works in conjunction with an external N-channel MOSFET and sense resistor to accurately control the current of each LED string individually. Dynamic headroom control automatically adjusts the LED supply to the minimum level required for LED current conduction, which increases system efficiency. This not only reduces the number of components, but also increases system efficiency while reducing system complexity and cost.

Three dimming modes simplify the general purpose control system: PWM input signal, analog to PWM input control or 4-byte data code;
