CES 2018, the International Consumer Electronics Show, took place as scheduled. As a leading global television manufacturer, Hisense held a product launch event in Las Vegas on January 8th at 11:00 AM. The event featured a series of groundbreaking new TVs designed to elevate the home entertainment experience.
At the press conference, Hisense highlighted its impressive achievements in 2017, showcasing its global expansion and market dominance. The company sold over 41 million units, becoming the fourth-largest TV brand worldwide. It also ranked first in South Africa and Australia, received 62 international awards, and successfully exported its products to 151 countries.
A major focus of the event was Hisense’s partnership with the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The brand emphasized its deep integration with living room entertainment through both product innovation and strategic collaborations. To celebrate the event, Hisense introduced the ULED U7 and U9 series, specifically tailored for sports fans.
The U9 model, part of the 2018 World Cup Limited Edition, features an advanced 1000-zone backlight system, offering ultra-high dynamic contrast and precise lighting control. This technology enhances image quality, making every detail, shadow, and color more vivid. Additionally, the Motion Flow intelligent motion frame measurement system ensures smooth and clear video playback, ideal for watching high-intensity sports events like the World Cup.
Hisense also unveiled several laser TV models, including the 150-inch dual-color light source S6, 88-inch L6, 100-inch HU100L6, and 80-inch KL1. The S6 model stands out with its adjustable size, ranging from 120 to 150 inches, and can even reach a massive 3.345m x 1.892m, effectively turning the screen into a large "video wall."
In terms of color performance, the L6 series achieves 116% coverage of the BT.709 color gamut, surpassing traditional LCD standards. The new generation of laser TVs also incorporates HDR imaging and 120Hz MEMC motion compensation, delivering sharper visuals and smoother motion.
