There are 6 LED encapsulation and listed companies, nearly 1,000 small and medium-sized enterprises, and technical patents account for more than 40% of the country's total. With the advantages of technological innovation, Guangdong LED actively promotes the formulation of product standards, takes the lead in the research and development of LED lighting standard optical components, formulates semiconductor lighting product standards based on LED street lamps, and leads the development of the national LED industry.

Liu Songhao revealed that Guangdong is actively developing and manufacturing MOCVD systems. The Guangdong Provincial Institute of Industrial Technology and Guangdong Zhaoxin Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will jointly promote the key technologies of the LED industry and the industrialization of MOCVD equipment.
