In the early morning of October 25th, according to the latest research report released by In-Stat, a US market research institute, as the number of mobile payment users increases to 375 million by 2015, the market demand for near-field communication (NFC) equipment will also increase. In-Stat research director Alan Nokia (Allen Nogee) said: "With the NFC chip cost, and integration with other NFC radio chip functions, the NFC technology into mobile phone revenue growth will exceed the cost of the integrated chip. It will also enable NFC radios to utilize technologies that have penetrated deeply into the market. For example, Bluetooth radios with current market penetration rates of up to 100% can be integrated with NFC radios and become the choice of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) using NFC technology."
