At the end of 2012, the global LTE network will exceed 100

The GSA (Global Mobile Equipment Suppliers Association) has increased its deployment expectations for LTE networks. According to the latest report of the GSA, there are currently 248 operators who have reached the intention of deploying LTE commercial networks, or have already been conducting LTE network trials, technical tests or research, which is an increase of 60% from a year ago. Now, GSA expects to have more than 100 LTE networks globally available by the end of 2012.

At present, LTE commercial networks of 185 companies are being deployed in 66 countries in the world, including 35 networks that have been officially commercialized, an increase of 64% from a year ago. In addition, 63 operators in 21 countries are already conducting LTE technology trials, tests or research. Up to now, a total of 35 LTE commercial networks have been launched in 21 countries and regions - Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Saudi Arabia Arab, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, United States and Uzbekistan.

Since this year, a total of 18 LTE networks have been launched, including 15 LTE FDD networks and 3 LTE TDD networks.
