LED combined with intelligent lighting controller brings out green lighting

There are currently about 10 billion incandescent lamps that consume about one-fifth of the world's energy. With the current “going green” ecological trend, many people are looking for new ways to save our planet in order to save energy. Solar, wind, hydro, and other renewable energy power generation are under construction to replace the harmful environment of coal and steam.

Another energy-saving alternative is to consume less energy through smart grids and smart systems and consume energy only when needed. For lighting systems, LEDs combined with smart sensor circuits appear to be a promising approach that can be used to solve the problem of high energy consumption. LED, or solid state light source (SSL) protocols, consume about one-third of the energy of incandescent lamps, and they are more efficient ways to use energy. Manufacturers already have such a solution.

Watt-sucking incandescent lamps still continue to dominate residential lighting landscapes, although they are inefficient and only convert a fraction of the energy into light. The rest of the energy is wasted and disappeared through the glass cover as heat. Because of the low efficiency of incandescent lamps, they have already begun to be eliminated in many countries in the world. Australia and Venezuela are at the leading stage at this stage, and the United States will start this matter from 2012 through 2014. Energy-saving lamps (CFLs) are already in use. They save 25% of the home's power consumption and generate less heat. In fact, a 20W energy-saving lamp can emit the same brightness as a 75W incandescent lamp.

The conversion of consumers from incandescent lamps to energy-saving lamps was in the late 1990s, giving people in cities and towns and towns a discount mechanism. What attracts consumers is “going green” and realizes cost savings on billing. However, this is not a positive experience for many people, for example, they want light to dim, and energy-saving lamps can not adjust the light and dark through the regulator, energy-saving lamps contain a small amount of mercury, need to properly handle hazardous substances. Many bulbs will be recycled and properly disposed of, but most are buried in landfills, which will lead to groundwater pollution. The adoption rate of energy-saving lamps is very low, which is estimated to be only about 11% of households in the United States. Energy-saving lamp technology has greatly improved in the past five years, but there is still no optimal solution.

Advances in semiconductor lighting (SSL) technology have led to a rapid increase in LED lighting in the commercial and residential markets. Commitment to long life, better luminescence, and greater energy efficiency are the main factors that LED replaces incandescent and energy-saving lamps. The LED only needs to consume one-third of its predecessor incandescent energy. It can make full use of smart sensors and microcontrollers to truly bring additional energy-saving and economic benefits. It is a true "green" technology. Some experts expect that most consumers will be willing to use LED lighting in less than a year.

In the next few years, the lighting industry will usher in a crucial moment in the history of lighting. Many countries in the European Union, Canada, Brazil and the United States will gradually take measures to withdraw incandescent light bulbs from the market. U.S. local utilities have begun to introduce LED lamp incentives, which will accelerate the adoption of LED lighting. These incentives will compensate consumers for the high cost of buying new lamps, which is about five times the cost of energy-saving lamps.
